Education First,
Creative Marketing Co-op
Spring of my fourth year at Northeastern, I participated in my second co-op with EF's Tours For Girls. My role was a creative marketing co-op. I was on a team of 13 people, 8 of which were in the sales role, one in customer experience, and another in web design and marketing. Then there was my boss and me. Because of this, I was given a lot of responsibilities. I was essentially the only designer on our specific team (we had a studio team that was made up of designers and videographers that did projects for various products within EF). I was able to broaden my skillset because of the responsibility my team gave me. I was in charge completely of the social media. I also was able to challenge myself in creating videos, something I wasn't comfortable with before this co-op. I also continuously worked on PowerPoints similar to TJX. At the beginning, EF Tours For Girls did not have a specific brand guideline book. I decided to create a PowerPoint template that I would apply to every PowerPoint I was given. This helped our brand create consistency.
Book Design
With this project, I was able to have full creative control over how I wanted to design this activity booklet. All I was told was the copy and to have fun with it. With my creative style being very precise and minimal, I started this project off with just little details added to the copy. From there, I played around with typography as well as what activities we could take away from just having the girls right down their answers, to making it a cross-word or Bingo game. Some aspects did come from other booklets made from our parent brand, Education Tours. I worked closely with my boss, the Marketing Manager, our Vice President, and our Sales Manager. I am most proud of this project because I was able to really take ownership of this project.
Videography
One of my favorite projects I was on was redesigning our parent guide. I brought in a lot of new aspects into this booklet which helped create a clean consistent layout. Below is a spread of one design that I was most proud of.

Referral Card
This referral card was one of the first projects where I really started to bring new aspects to EF Girl Trips. When I began, we didn't have any patterns or textures that I could work with. I learned from working at TJX about using icons as a pattern or texture. I decided to try it on this design to see how my team would like it. They ended up loving the idea!
Social Media Management
This was one of the most engaged with post I created during my time at EF. As inspiration, I would look at other EF accounts, and in the past EF Ultimate Break would do these types of posts about astrological signs. I decided to go for it and it was a great success!
During the quarantine of 2020, we had to come up with a lot of ideas and resources for our followers to keep them engaged with our company. Our team came up with this idea of having girls help design our 2021 patch. I took the icon pattern idea into this design as well. Below are social media posts and stories that I created to promote this campaign. Underneath these two designs is a timeline I created for our landing page. We really wanted the girls to learn the production of their patch if it was chosen.
